I haven’t really addressed my love of handbags. I am truly a handbag fanatic- my favorites tend to be small and sleek, I hate BIG bags. I pack light wherever I go. I can’t stand being encumbered with a heavy load.

2016 fashion season offered a really incredible array of handbags.

Sumptuous leathers, rich saturated tones, color blocking and fun whimsical details. I know a lot of the fashionistas lost their sh*t over the Gucci Ghost bag, the Dionysus handbags inspired by the Greek God of grape harvest, wine and winemaking from Gucci are hands down my ultimate favorite.  Stripes, bamboo handles, snake emblems and vivid flowers over-laid on the iconic Gucci insignia brought freshness and energy. It’s really hard to look at the Gucci accessories collection and not go crazy with excitement. I don’t think there’s a piece I haven’t pinned to my Pinterest boards. Even the simple leather bags with the Gucci name monogram are showstoppers.

But Gucci wasn’t the only label that captured me- I loved Chloe’s Faye and Hudson bags in all colors and sizes. I have to mention Mansur Gavriel known for super sleek innovative functional designs. Other favorites include the imaginative Les Petits Joueurs bags, and the Gaia Ark bag that every fashion blogger seemed to have were on my hit list.

Scroll down to check out the handbags that I’ve been lusting and craving.
