Holiday With Friends & Fam: Casual Holiday Party Fashion Tips

Now we’ve had the office holiday party, the glam black tie cocktail soirees, but my favorite has to be those casual get togethers with friends and family. This is where you can just chill, let down your hair and really relax. When you’re with the ones who know you best-you can’t help but feel freer. (Being around aunt Ella or your besties doesn’t come with the rigid confines of a particular dress code.) The other great thing about these less formal parties is that you can dress more comfy. This is the perfect opportunity to wear your jeans. Flats, or heels if you’re that girl-either is fine.

Since no party in my opinion is complete without some sort of dazzle, it’s the perfect opportunity to pair your jeans with a sequined top or blazer, beaded sweater just to add a little sparkle.

Just because you’re surrounded by those who love you most, doesn’t give you a free pass to let fashion fatigue set in and get lazy with your style choices. You still have to make a little effort.

Scroll down and check out some smart ways to give those casual pieces some glam and make them party ready!!
